Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (bobcats, forklifts) and power tools safely
- Assist carpenters and masons with material staging and installation
- Implement strict OSHA safety protocols on all job sites
- Maintain equipment functionality through daily inspections and minor maintenance
- Coordinate with site supervisors for efficient workflow management
- Complete daily progress reports and documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience
- OSHA 10/30 certification required
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Proficiency with power tools and construction equipment
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Spanish bilingual preferred
