Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks on active construction sites, including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks such as framing, drywall hanging, and basic carpentry.
- Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and free of hazards in strict compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Unload and stock construction materials from delivery trucks and distribute them to job sites.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from site supervisors and project managers.
- Perform minor site preparation, concrete finishing, and cleanup duties as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is a plus.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Willingness to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and occasional holidays.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols and PPE requirements.
