Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment to job sites efficiently and safely.
- Assembly: Help in the assembly of building frameworks, including walls, floors, and partitions, under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Assistance: Provide general labor support, including digging trenches, pouring concrete, and assisting with carpentry or painting tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction labor, landscaping, or general handyman work is preferred but not required.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Tools: Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Attendance: Strong work ethic with a proven record of reliable attendance and punctuality.
