Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including site preparation, material handling, and debris removal
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently under supervisor guidance
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians) with project execution
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and job site regulations
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints
- Participate in daily team briefings and progress updates
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience or trade school certification
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic proficiency with hand tools (hammers, saws, levels) and power tools
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for weekend shifts (Sat/Sun 6AM-4PM)
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Indianapolis metro area
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
