Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites by clearing debris, laying out materials, and setting up temporary barriers.
- Material Handling: Load and unload construction materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Demolition & Cleanup: Perform light demolition work and ensure the work area is kept clean and organized at the end of each shift.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment such as skid steers, compactors, and concrete mixers under supervision.
- Quality Control: Assist in basic quality checks and ensure all work meets safety and project specifications.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction labor or general labor is preferred but not strictly required; on-the-job training provided.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Tools: Basic hand tools (hammer, tape measure) are a plus.
