Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying materials to and from job sites.
- Operate and assist with construction equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, and jackhammers under supervision.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, grading, and leveling the ground.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with various tasks as directed.
- Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and comply with OSHA safety regulations at all times.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and safety plans.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately to the Site Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols is a plus.
- Willingness to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) and potential overtime hours.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-oriented attitude.
