Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials and tools to keep the crew productive.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians) with various tasks as directed by the site foreman.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic power tools and equipment such as drills, saws, and generators.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is preferred but not required; we will train the right candidate.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing on concrete.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
