Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, demolition, and site preparation tasks using hand/power tools
- Assist skilled trades with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts) under certified supervision
- Maintain OSHA compliance standards and enforce site safety protocols
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to execute construction plans
- Coordinate material deliveries and inventory management on-site
- Perform cleanup and debris removal between project phases
- Document daily progress and report equipment/safety concerns
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or heavy labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction Certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Florida driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement skills
- Strong commitment to workplace safety standards
- Flexibility to work weekends and occasional overtime
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
