Responsibilities
- Perform general construction tasks including demolition, debris removal, and site cleanup.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, and painters) with daily tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by strictly adhering to OSHA safety guidelines and PPE requirements.
- Operate basic hand and power tools under the supervision of a foreman.
- Prepare job sites by digging, filling, and leveling surfaces accurately.
Qualifications
- Ability to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads (50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols and the importance of site safety.
- High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school experience is a plus.
