Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and masons, with various tasks as needed.
- Perform general site cleanup, including debris removal and waste disposal, ensuring a safe work environment.
- Operate basic construction machinery and tools, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and power drills, following all safety protocols.
- Follow blueprints, diagrams, and safety instructions to ensure accurate and efficient work execution.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials according to project specifications.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately to the site supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous construction or labor experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and early morning shifts.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
