Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and masons, with daily tasks.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Perform general cleanup of job sites, ensuring debris is removed and areas are organized.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
- Prepare surfaces for painting, flooring, or other finishing work.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and instructions from supervisors.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of construction tools and safety equipment.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well within a team.
