Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground to project specifications.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual labor.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment and power tools under supervision to support ongoing operations.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment at all times.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards to ensure a professional workspace.
- Support Duties: Assist skilled tradesmen (electricians, welders, etc.) with necessary tasks as directed by the site supervisor.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods on various terrains.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) and potentially weekdays as needed.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record required for site transport.
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is a plus but not required; on-the-job training provided for qualified candidates.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Tools: Basic understanding of construction tools, safety gear, and on-site safety protocols is preferred.
