Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and basic carpentry work
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Assist skilled trades with layout, measurements, and finishing tasks
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and comply with OSHA safety standards
- Participate in weekend project timelines to meet critical deadlines
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Perform quality checks on completed work
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or skilled trades experience required
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic knowledge of construction materials and methods
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday) essential
