Responsibilities
- Assist in site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment using proper lifting techniques
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervision
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow OSHA safety protocols
- Support skilled trades with material handling and basic task execution
- Perform physical labor such as digging, carrying, and assembling structures
- Adapt to project timelines and communicate effectively with site supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor or related experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for weekend shifts
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
