Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and equipment operation
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other skilled trades with hands-on project support
- Maintain clean, organized job sites following OSHA safety standards
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate implementation
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, etc.) and heavy machinery safely
- Perform quality checks on completed work under supervisor guidance
- Participate in daily team briefings and progress updates
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor conditions
- Basic tool proficiency (hammers, saws, levels, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Physical stamina for 8-hour weekend shifts
- Ability to work independently and in team settings
