Responsibilities
- Execute concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks per blueprints
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, levels, etc.) with precision
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and site prep
- Maintain clean, organized job sites following OSHA standards
- Read and interpret construction documents and site plans
- Perform daily equipment inspections and safety checks
- Collaborate with crew leads to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic math skills for material measurements and calculations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Flexibility to work weekends in Long Beach area
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
