Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, framing, concrete work, and finishing operations
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy machinery safely
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians) with material handling
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Read blueprints and follow verbal instructions from site supervisors
- Perform site prep and cleanup activities between shifts
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic math skills for material measurement
- Flexibility for early weekend shifts (5:00 AM - 2:00 PM)
- Pass background check and drug screening
