Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and material handling tasks with precision
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with layout, framing, and finishing work
- Operate hand/power tools safely and maintain equipment functionality
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Read blueprints and follow verbal/written instructions from supervisors
- Assist in concrete pouring, formwork installation, and curing processes
- Transport materials and equipment using forklifts or manual methods as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or trade school certification
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement proficiency
- Availability for weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) with occasional weekday overtime
- Background check and drug screening required
