Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the site.
- Machinery Operation: Operate heavy machinery, including forklifts and skid steers, under supervision to move earth and debris.
- General Labor: Perform general cleanup and maintenance of the work area to ensure safety and compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Trade Support: Support skilled tradespeople by providing assistance with various construction tasks as needed.
- Quality Control: Help ensure work meets quality standards and project specifications.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing on concrete.
- Experience: Prior experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is preferred but not required.
- License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Tools: Willingness to provide basic personal safety equipment (PPE).
