Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive electrical inspections, maintenance, and repairs on commercial and residential properties during weekend shifts.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical systems efficiently while adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Ensure all installations and repairs fully comply with local Massachusetts electrical codes and OSHA regulations.
- Install, maintain, and repair lighting fixtures, switchgear, and power distribution systems.
- Collaborate effectively with the on-site team to ensure project milestones are met on time.
- Document all work completed accurately in company logs and provide clear communication to clients.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure all tools and equipment are in proper working order.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Journeyman Electrician License in the State of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong ability to work independently and efficiently during non-standard hours (weekends).
- Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety excellence.
- Reliable personal vehicle for travel to various job sites within the Greater Boston area.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in confined spaces or at heights when necessary.
