Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times.
- Document all work performed and report on job progress to project managers.
- Utilize hand and power tools effectively to complete tasks within deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license in the state of Illinois.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in commercial or residential electrical work.
- Proven ability to work weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as required.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
