As a Weekend Electrician at Apex Electrical, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and functionality of electrical systems for our residential and commercial clients. We pride ourselves on our workmanship and our commitment to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of electrical repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks on-site.
- Ensure all work complies strictly with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues quickly and accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Interact professionally with customers, providing updates and answering questions.
- Complete accurate time sheets and job reports by the end of each shift.
- Utilize hand tools, test meters, and power equipment safely and effectively.
Qualifications
- Licensed Journeyman Electrician required (or equivalent certification).
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work rotating weekends and occasional holidays as required.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
