Responsibilities
- Perform installations: Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and control devices in residential and commercial settings.
- Ensure Compliance: Adhere to all local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) to ensure safe and up-to-code installations.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair electrical faults and system failures efficiently during weekend shifts.
- Client Communication: Interact professionally with clients, explain technical issues in plain language, and provide estimates for additional work.
- Tools & Safety: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, and strictly follow all OSHA safety protocols.
- Panel Work: Perform panel upgrades, load balancing, and circuit breaker replacements as required.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman Electrician license in the state of Virginia.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and occasional holidays.
- Tools: Must provide your own high-quality hand tools and test equipment.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
