Responsibilities
- Execute high-quality electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance for commercial and residential projects.
- Interpret complex blueprints and technical schematics to ensure precise wiring and circuitry.
- Perform routine safety inspections and diagnostic troubleshooting of electrical systems.
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety standards and local Virginia electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment and adhere to company vehicle maintenance protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers and site supervisors to meet tight deadlines.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate technical issues clearly to clients.
Qualifications
- License Required: Valid Journeyman Electrician License (Virginia or equivalent interstate reciprocity).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of verifiable experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Availability: Must be available to work Friday through Sunday (weekend shift).
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and reliability.
