Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial properties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code and Texas state regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques
- Perform system upgrades, panel replacements, and wiring installations
- Conduct safety inspections and recommend preventative maintenance
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to deliver exceptional service
- Manage inventory and order necessary materials for weekend projects
Qualifications
- Valid Texas electrician license (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical experience
- Proven ability to work independently on weekends and overtime
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes, safety protocols, and OSHA standards
- Experience with residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems
- Proficiency in diagnostic tools (multimeters, clamp meters, etc.)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
