Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/residential properties
- Interpret blueprints and technical schematics for precise circuit configurations
- Conduct diagnostic testing using advanced electrical testing equipment
- Ensure strict compliance with NEC and local electrical codes
- Lead weekend emergency response teams for critical outages
- Mentor junior technicians on safety protocols and best practices
- Coordinate with project managers to meet weekend installation deadlines
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid District of Columbia Electrician License (Journeyman/Master)
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CPR/First Aid training
- Advanced proficiency in conduit bending and circuit troubleshooting
- Proven track record of weekend shift reliability
- Strong knowledge of energy-efficient systems and smart technology
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Clean driving record and valid Class C driver's license
