Responsibilities
- Perform commercial and residential electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine circuit layouts and load requirements.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical systems and components.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work site at all times.
- Document all work completed and report material usage accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the State of Illinois.
- Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Proven availability to work weekends and holidays.
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
