Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair plumbing systems including leaks, clogs, and fixture installations
- Install water heaters, piping systems, and backflow prevention devices
- Perform emergency weekend service calls with rapid response times
- Inspect plumbing systems to ensure compliance with local codes and safety standards
- Estimate project costs and provide transparent quotes to customers
- Maintain accurate service records and inventory of tools/materials
- Train junior plumbers on best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential plumbing experience
- Valid North Carolina plumbing license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong diagnostic skills with mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Excellent customer communication and problem-solving abilities
- Physical capability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Reliable transportation and weekend availability (Saturdays/Sundays)
