Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties
- Diagnose plumbing issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
- Interpret blueprints and technical specifications for complex installations
- Ensure all work complies with District of Columbia plumbing codes and regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication with clients
- Manage inventory of plumbing materials and equipment efficiently
- Mentor junior plumbers and maintain safety standards on job sites
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and service requests
Qualifications
- Valid DC plumbing license (Master Plumber preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential plumbing experience
- Proficiency with trenchless pipe repair and hydro-jetting systems
- Strong knowledge of backflow prevention devices and installation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Pass background check and drug screening
