Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing materials
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, forklifts, and power tools under supervisor guidance
- Assist skilled trades with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site-specific regulations
- Perform quality checks on completed work and document progress daily
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines are met
- Transport materials using company vehicles and maintain equipment cleanliness
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor or related field experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification required (training provided if needed)
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and basic construction terminology
- Ability to read blueprints and follow verbal/written instructions
