Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and demolition tasks
- Operate hand/power tools safely including jackhammers, saws, and drills
- Maintain clean, organized job sites following OSHA safety protocols
- Read blueprints and follow supervisor instructions for project specifications
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs) and physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Assist in setting up/removing safety barriers, scaffolding, and temporary structures
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and safety inspections
- Participate in mandatory morning safety briefings and training sessions
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic math skills for measuring materials and calculating quantities
- Physical stamina to work 8-10 hour shifts in outdoor environments
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10-hour certification (provided free)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams
- Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as project demands require
