Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely (hammers, saws, shovels, etc.)
- Load/unload construction materials and transport to designated areas
- Maintain clean and organized job sites to meet safety standards
- Follow verbal instructions from site supervisors and project managers
- Complete daily safety checklists and report hazards immediately
- Assist with trenching, excavation support, and concrete finishing tasks
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- Must be at least 18 years old with valid photo ID
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of English (verbal communication)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Own reliable transportation to job sites within Atlanta metro
- Strong work ethic and punctuality essential
