Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts) under supervision
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and installation
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean workspaces
- Read blueprints and technical drawings for project accuracy
- Transport materials via forklifts or manual labor as needed
- Participate in all-weather outdoor construction activities
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license with clean record (equipment operation)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- OSHA 10-hour certification (training provided if needed)
- Reliable transportation to job sites in Houston/GA
- Basic math skills for material calculations
- Team player with strong communication abilities
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
