Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up equipment, and organizing materials
- Assist skilled trades (carpenters, masons, electricians) with material handling and task support
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervision
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Load/unload trucks and transport materials to designated job sites
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, and moving heavy objects (50-100 lbs)
- Complete daily progress reports and communicate with site supervisors
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory
- Comfortable working in outdoor environments (heat, heights, noise)
- Team player with strong communication skills in English
- Punctual with consistent attendance record
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- No felony convictions (required for construction site access)
