Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and laying out materials
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, masons, electricians) with material handling and tool management
- Operate hand/power tools safely including saws, drills, and pneumatic equipment
- Follow precise blueprints and safety protocols on commercial/residential projects
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and comply with OSHA regulations
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and physical tasks in various weather conditions
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction labor experience preferred
- Valid Florida Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in outdoor environments
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with daily start time at 6:00 AM
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic tool knowledge and ability to learn equipment operation quickly
