Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with excavation, demolition, and material handling tasks
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (jackhammers, saws, drills)
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job sites
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Read blueprints and execute construction plans with precision
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, and moving heavy objects
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or equivalent physical work background
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training available)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for night shift (6 PM - 2 AM)
- Basic math skills for material calculations
- Pass background check and drug screening
