Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and skilled trades with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervision
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Follow strict OSHA safety protocols and maintain organized work areas
- Perform trenching, excavation support, and basic concrete finishing tasks
- Participate in demolition activities and debris removal
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance reports
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Basic construction knowledge or willingness to complete safety training
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for early morning shifts (5-7 AM starts)
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Experience with power tools or heavy machinery preferred but not required
