Responsibilities
- Assist skilled trades with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic tools (shovels, saws, drills) and light equipment under supervision
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain organized workspaces
- Load/unload construction materials and debris from job sites
- Complete physical tasks including digging, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and carrying
- Adhere to project timelines and supervisor instructions
- Participate in team-based construction activities
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the US
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor conditions
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Virginia Beach
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices
- Willingness to undergo background check and drug screening
