Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Assist skilled tradespeople with carpentry, masonry, and concrete work
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Maintain clean and organized job sites throughout shift duration
- Operate basic tools and machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws, drills)
- Read and interpret basic construction blueprints and instructions
- Report equipment issues or site hazards to supervisor immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of construction labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexible availability for weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday)
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction materials
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero-tolerance for no-shows
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
