Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications to execute projects accurately
- Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local safety regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment and implement effective solutions
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to meet deadlines and quality standards
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Electrician License (Journeyman or Master) required
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes, safety protocols, and best practices
- Ability to work independently and in diverse environments (construction sites, facilities)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
