Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and Louisiana state regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Coordinate with contractors, clients, and team members for seamless project execution
- Maintain clean, safe work environments and follow all safety protocols
- Complete accurate documentation and reporting for completed work
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid Louisiana electrician license (journeyman or master)
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong knowledge of NEC and local building codes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends when required
