Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential properties
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to determine wiring layouts and installation requirements
- Inspect electrical components to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety codes
- Diagnose electrical malfunctions using advanced testing equipment
- Coordinate with contractors and project managers to ensure timely project completion
- Document all work activities and maintain accurate service records
- Mentor junior electricians on best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Texas electrician license (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency with conduit bending, transformers, and VFD systems
- Ability to work independently during night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong troubleshooting skills with complex electrical systems
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
