Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with construction tasks including demolition, excavation, and material handling
- Maintain clean and organized job sites, including debris removal and safety compliance
- Operate hand tools (shovels, hammers, saws) and basic equipment safely
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Follow blueprints and verbal instructions from site supervisors
- Perform site preparation tasks (grading, trenching, concrete pouring support)
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and company protocols
Qualifications
- Previous construction or labor experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with daily attendance
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety practices
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Willingness to travel between Indianapolis and Georgia projects as needed
