Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026-era AI/quantum technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum machine learning, neuromorphic computing, and autonomous systems
- Collaborate with MIT, Stanford, and ETH Zurich on next-gen computational paradigms
- Architect scalable frameworks for quantum-AI hybrid systems with 10,000+ qubit capabilities
- Drive innovation in ethical AI governance and quantum-resistant cryptography standards
- Mentor a multidisciplinary team of PhD researchers and engineers
- Secure $10M+ in funding for frontier technology initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in AI/quantum R&D with published work in Nature/Science journals
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, tensor networks, and neural-symbolic integration
- Proven track record of leading $5M+ R&D projects with commercialization success
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware (superconducting, photonic, topological qubits)
- Experience with ethics frameworks for autonomous systems and AGI alignment
- Strong network ties with DARPA, IARPA, or international quantum consortia
- Fluency in Python, Qiskit, TensorFlow Quantum, and high-performance computing
