Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology adoption roadmap, identifying key inflection points for AI, quantum, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' initiatives prototyping next-gen solutions for Fortune 500 clients
- Establish strategic partnerships with top-tier research institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich) for 2026-relevant R&D
- Author quarterly '2026 Horizon Reports' forecasting technological disruptions and market readiness
- Design and implement innovation frameworks to accelerate technology commercialization cycles
- Present strategic vision to C-suite executives and board members, securing buy-in for $50M+ innovation budgets
- Mentor a team of futurists and technologists, fostering a culture of radical innovation and calculated risk-taking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Future Studies; PhD preferred with specialization in emerging technologies
- 10+ years of experience in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Proven track record of successfully launching at least two market-defining technologies ahead of industry curves
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or quantum cryptography with published research or patents
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex technological ecosystems and their socioeconomic impacts
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite boards and securing multi-million dollar innovation investments
- Proficiency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning) and scenario planning frameworks
