Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging fields (2026-2030)
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum AI integration and sustainable computing
- Partner with C-suite executives to align innovation with business strategy
- Manage a $15M annual R&D budget with cross-functional teams
- Present findings at global tech forums (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
- Secure strategic partnerships with NASA, Stanford, and EU Horizon Europe
- Mentor a team of 15+ PhD-level researchers and engineers
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, or Quantum Engineering
- 8+ years in tech R&D with 3+ years in leadership roles
- Published research in Nature/Science journals (minimum 5 papers)
- Expertise in at least one emerging tech domain (quantum/neuromorphic/AI)
- Proven track record of commercializing research (2+ products)
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming frameworks
- Fluency in Mandarin or German for international partnerships
- Active membership in IEEE or ACM
