Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps for 2026+ innovations including quantum computing, advanced AI, and bio-integrated systems
- Lead R&D initiatives for cutting-edge solutions in sustainable tech and human-machine augmentation
- Partner with C-suite executives to align technological investments with long-term business objectives
- Manage cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and futurists
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging threats and opportunities in global tech ecosystems
- Drive patent development and intellectual property strategy for breakthrough innovations
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology leadership with proven experience in emerging tech adoption
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, neuromorphic engineering, or synthetic biology
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Published research or patents in top-tier journals/conferences (Nature, Science, IEEE)
- Experience scaling technology initiatives from concept to global deployment
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management preferred
- Strong track record of leading $10M+ R&D portfolios
