Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning for 2026 technology roadmap, identifying disruptive innovations and market opportunities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, decentralized AI) and develop implementation frameworks
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs to prototype next-gen solutions with 3-5 year horizons
- Partner with venture capital arms to scout and acquire cutting-edge startups and IP
- Develop future-proof governance frameworks for ethical AI and autonomous systems
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and boards, securing resources for long-term initiatives
- Build and lead a world-class team of futurists, technologists, and innovation architects
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years experience in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech R&D
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products with 3+ year development cycles
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or spatial computing
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex systems and forecast technological convergence points
- Executive presence with successful stakeholder management across global organizations
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation (PhD/MSc preferred)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Futures Studies highly desirable
