- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and startups for R&D acceleration
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members with data-driven insights
- Champion ethical frameworks and sustainability principles in all future tech initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, R&D, or innovation roles at tech-forward companies
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (AI, quantum, etc.)
- Expertise in futures methodologies, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Deep understanding of global tech policy, ethical AI, and sustainable innovation
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-tech initiatives launched in the past 5 years
