Responsibilities
- Lead research and analysis of emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology adoption across enterprise operations
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build and manage an innovation ecosystem of startups, academia, and industry partners
- Define KPIs and success metrics for future technology initiatives
- Secure and allocate R&D budgets for experimental projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech R&D
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI governance, neurotech, or climate tech
- Executive-level presentation skills with ability to articulate complex futures
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or related field
- Certifications in foresight methodology (e.g., CFIP) preferred
- Experience building innovation labs or venture arms
- Published thought leadership on technology trends
